Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, has admitted his regret at not signing players during the January transfer window. The German had outlined several targets during the mid-season transfer window, yet decided against signing any of them.
The Reds have suffered many key injuries this season which has made him regret his decision not to bolster his options when he had the opportunity to.
He however intimated that he is now ready to splash the cash when the transfer window opens again. Liverpool are challenging for a place in the top four which would mean they could participate in at least 4 competitions next season, they cannot get through these competitions with a squad as thin as the one they currently have.
He went on to explain that the next transfer window is an opportunity for them to show that they have learned a lesson from this season’s mistake.
Liverpool’s 3-1 win over Everton this weekend has moved them third on the league standings ahead of their next match with Bournemouth.
