Liverpool on alert as target drops hint he wants summer move

Liverpool target and PSG star Edinson Cavani has dropped a massive hint he is leaving the French giants.

Cavani, who is contracted with the French giants until June 2018, has revealed his frustration at his wide role, with Laurent Blanc deploying Zlatan Ibrahimovic as his main striker instead.

And the 28-year-old has been quite frank over his future, telling men’s magazine GQ: “I don’t know whether I will stay at PSG. I might stay, I might leave. You never know what will happen in football.

“When I arrived at PSG, I was forced to play on the wing.

“People don’t understand how much that has influenced my performances. I would score a lot more if I was played as a striker.

“I want to play as a striker. I would without a doubt do much better in my own position.”

  1. I think Liverpool should go for cavani he’s a great player and could offer alot to Liverpool. Why are liverpool fc buying the likes if Danny ings. I was excited ay the prospect of memphis depay but for some reason players dont want to come to Liverpool to play. In a nut shell can’t attract top class players. Stop buying lower league players and buy some quality. Try!!! Liverpool try!!!. Alexander lacazette would be a brilliant addition to the squad make it happen. For Gods sake as an avid liverpool fan myself it hurts to see us sore an interest in a top class player and losing him to the likes if man United. Disheartening To say the last. Maybe we should change manager and get klopp that i’d like to see. COME ON YOU REDS!
