Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe is clearly a fan of how Liverpool develop their youngsters. The Cherries manager signed two Liverpool players in Jordan Ibe, and Brad Smith last season, and is set to raid the club again this summer.
According to the media, Howe is set to offer an escape route to Liverpool young defensive prospect, Joe Gomez.
Gomez, who is just 19, started last season on high before a major injury cruelly ended his campaign. He is back in the first team but has been limited to just three FA cup appearances this season.
Howe believes a £10 million and a buy-back clause similar to the one attached to Jordan Ibe’s contract would tempt Liverpool to sell. He is also interested in Liverpool’s young winger, Ryan Kent, 20, who has just returned from loan.
Jurgen Klopp clearly likes Gomez, and sees him as a top talent for the future, he is not likely going to allow Gomez leave Anfield on a permanent basis, however he may sanction a temporary move so that the player can get more first team experience.
