Liverpool open talks to get £25 million man signed?

Liverpool have opened talks to sign Miralem Pjanic with his club Roma ready to sell the midfielder for £37million, according to the Metro website.

Pjanic, who is seen as an ideal replacement for Steven Gerrard, is one of the finest pass-masters in European football.

The Reds have been lining up a £25million deal at the end of the season, as Brendan Rodgers has been out on a number of occasions to keep an eye on him.
