Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has finally lost patience with his two keepers Loris Karius and Simon Mignolet and is set to bring in a replacement in the summer.
The player that Klopp is said to be keen on is Real Madrid stopper Keylor Navas.
Both Karius and Mignolet have failed to nail down the number one spot at Anfield despite being given more than enough opportunities and it now seems that Klopp has decided that neither is good enough long term for the Reds.
Klopp had initially wanted to sign Roma’s Alisson but a £80 Million price tag has put the German off and instead he is now looking at Navas.
It is common knowledge that Real are looking for a new keeper and Navas time at the Bernabeu is fast coming to an end and the chances are that he will be allowed to leave in the summer without too much fuss.
It is being reported that Madrid will accept £17.5m for the Costa Rican number one, a figure that is both realistic and enticing.
If Liverpool are determined to sign Navas then it is very probable that a deal with Real Madrid can be agreed on fairly quickly.
