Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is reportedly planning a stunning swoop for Chelsea and Spain Midfielder, Cesc Fabregas.
The Spaniard has failed to nail down a first team spot in Antonio Conte’s starting lineup this season, despite chipping in with some important goals when given an opportunity to play for the Blues.
Jose Mourinho is thought to also be in the running for the midfielder whom he signed for the Blues in 2015.
Fabregas has the ambition of featuring in next summer’s world cup, but he would find it hard to fulfil that ambition if he does not sign for a team that can offer him regular playing time.
The Blues are looking to sign AS Monaco’s Tiemoue Bakayoko, a move that would see Fabregas fall further down the perking order at Stamford Bridge.
Fabregas turns 30 this week and he knows that a move away from Stamford Bridge is the best gift he could give to himself.
Liverpool are looking to sign some experienced players this summer as they plan for a return to the UEFA Champions League for next season.
