Liverpool reignite their interest in young Brazilian sensation
Liverpool have reignited their interest in Brazil U23 international, Anderson Talisca. The Brazilian was heavily linked with a move to the Reds last season, but a move could not happen because he was unable to secure a work permit. He still isn’t qualified for a work permit, but Liverpool are confident the player will soon get a Brazilian cap which would make him eligible.
Talisca joined Besiktas in August 2016 and has helped the club to the top of the Turkish league and on the brink of winning the title again this season.
Liverpool consider Talisca a good option if they lose Daniel Sturridge this summer.
Daniel Sturridge has lost his place in Liverpool’s starting lineup, and it is thought that the Englandman is unhappy about that.
West Ham have been long admirers of the injury-prone striker and may make a move for him this summer.
Talisca can play across the left, right or centre of attacking midfield, and won back to back league title in Portugal with Benfica.
He is valued at £21 million, an amount that would not be a problem for Liverpool.
