Liverpool defender is hoping for a second chance to represent the Reds. The Frenchman was banished from the first team by Jurgen Klopp this season after repeatedly breaking team rules.
He played the first six months of this season with the club’s U23 before he was offered a chance to revive his career at Crystal Palace this January.
Since joining Palace, Sakho’s stock has risen dramatically and Crystal palace’s win at Stanford Bridge earlier this month was the highlight of his short career at the club. The club had gone on a three games winning streak in which they also kept clean sheets in those games when the French man played.
But Sakho has come out to once again reiterate his commitment to Liverpool, according to French publication Telefoot, Sakho is deeply sorry for his past behaviour and would love to get another chance to show the club what he can do.
Sakho is loved by Liverpool fans, the fans were initially unhappy with the manager’s decision to ban him from the first team, and even when his offence became public, most fans still feel the coach should have given him another chance.
