It appears as though Liverpool would willingly break the world transfer record to seal a move for RB Leipzig’s Naby Keita.
The Reds have already made outrageous offers that would obliterate their current record transfer fee, but those sums have been turned down by the Germans who remain adamant that the midfielder is not for sale.
Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp laughed off the Germans decision to make Liverpool’s latest offer for Keita public, although he failed to provide more information about the Reds next move.
However, Liverpool appears to have no alternative to Keita, and is a case of them landing Keita or not landing anyone at all.
The Guinean was one of the most outstanding players in the Bundesliga last season, and his performances helped new comers RB Leipzig challenge for the league crown and ultimately secure automatic Champions League qualification.
The midfielder is keen to play in the Premier League, but Leipzig has no desire to sell. Former Liverpool attacker and his fellow country man Titi Camara claims he has solid information that Kieta has told Leipzig of his desire to join the Reds.
Liverpool is planning to return with a new offer slightly above £70 million next week.
