Liverpool risk missing out on landing long term Brazilian target

It has been rumoured for some time now that Liverpool would be signing hot Brazilian prospect Luan, however, those rumours have been dismissed as nothing more than smoke.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is said to be a great admirer of the Gremio forward and has been monitoring him for over 12 months. The 24-year-old is seen as a fantastic talent and has been dubbed the ‘new Ronaldinho’ in his home country.

It appeared that it would be just a matter of time before the Reds signed the player, who is set to enter the final year of his contract, however, according to the latest reports, nothing concrete has happened up to now.

Luan is valued at £26 Million, a fee that Liverpool can easily afford, but if they do not move soon then they run a serious risk of missing out on the player, who is also reported to be in discussion with his club over a possible extension.

It is most likely that Liverpool are waiting until the season finishes and they know whether they have qualified for next season’s Champions League before they finalise their summer transfer targets.
