Liverpool ‘set to activate’ £20 million clause as President confirms offer made

There has been some fresh reports which have claimed Liverpool will activate Dani Parejo’s £20million release clause in the coming days, according to the SportsDirectNews website.

It is no secret that the Reds are keen on the highly-impressive midfielder as they look to strengthen for the Champions League next season.

And it seems they are closing in on a deal after Valencia’s president Amadeo Salvo has confirmed an offer has been made but said it was below the player’s release fee.

Brendan Rodgers is now ready to meet Parejo’s asking price, though he will also need to convince the player to leave Spain and agree personal terms. © 2017 Frontier Theme
