Liverpool set to make a move for long term Arsenal target

Liverpool is reported to have made contact with French giants Paris St Germain over the availability of German ace and long-term Arsenal target Julian Draxler.

Draxler is more or less a fringe player in Paris now and this has apparently alerted Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, who has long been an admirer of his fellow countryman.

Draxler would definitely welcome a move to Anfield, he needs playing time in a world cup year and he knows his opportunities are very limited with PSG.

With Neymar and Kylian Mbappe ahead of him in the pecking order, the 24-year-old knows that his days are well and truly numbered and a move in January is a definite possibility.

Arsenal has also been linked with the winger and may yet enter the frame, however, as things stand right now it is Liverpool that is in the driving seat.

There is also the potential for other clubs to throw their hats into the ring, Draxler is clearly talented, he is a proven international and still young, however, a lot will depend on what fee PSG slap on the player.

But whatever happens, the chances are that Draxler will depart France this January, just a case of who signs him.
