Liverpool look set to land Danny Ings on a free transfer after Burnley manager Sean Dyche admitted he is set to leave the club.
Ings has impressed for Burnley this season, scoring 10 goals in his maiden season in the league, and is set to leave at the end of the season, according to talkSPORT.
And Dyche admits the club will struggle to keep the striker following the Clarets’ relegation.
‘It’s probable that that was a farewell from Danny,’ said Dyche.
‘There is a kind of message going out that they will be looking for pastures new.The sounds coming out of him and his agent make it probably that we will be going elsewhere.
‘That sometimes happens in football and every player has the right to run their contract down if they want to, so we will see what happens in the summer.’
