Liverpool transfer target Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has hinted that he is could leave Udinese in the summer.
The Udinese man has caught the eye of many across Europe but according to reports Liverpool are now in pole position to sign him.
Despite being only 23, Badu has amassed over 40 caps for Ghana and would come relatively cheap should Rodgers decide to firm up his interest.
Chievo are also reported to be keen but a move to Anfield and the Premier League would surely be too tempting to turn down.
And the Reds has been given a further boost after he said he is already looking to the future.
As quoted on the Daily Express website, he said: “This year I scored five goals, but if there’s a chance to move to a bigger team? We’ll see what happens.
“My desire is to stay here, but everything depends on the club.
“Right now though, I am focused on the World Cup. My agent is the one that is thinking about my future.”
