Liverpool’s pursuit of RB Leipzig Guinean midfielder Naby Keita received a major boost after the player appears to endorse the move on social media.
The Reds and the midfielder are keen for a union with each other, but his club Leipzig are unwilling to let him go. The Guinean was so outstanding last season he was named the second best player in the Bundesliga after helping RB Leipzig compete for the league crown and finishing just a few points short in second place.
Liverpool is prepared to spend £70 million for his signature as Jurgen Klopp considers him a huge part of his plan for next season as they return to the UEFA Champions League.
The player has reiterated his intention to join the Reds by liking an Instagram image showing him mocked up in a Liverpool shirt. The post appeared on the Instagram handle of guineebuzz who congratulated him for winning the African player of the season. He piped new Liverpool signing, Mohammed Salah to the award.
The Reds are hoping to complete his signing before they jet out for the Premier League Asia Trophy next week.
