Liverpool could land Benfica striker Oscar Cardozo in the summer window, as he could move in the summer window despite only signing a new contract at Benfica recently.
The striker’s agent, Aldave Pedro, has revealed the Paraguayan forward is attracting attention from clubs all over Europe.
And with Luis Suarez openly admitting he wants to leave Anfield, Liverpool are front runners to replace one South American striker with another.
“Every day I get numerous offers for Cardozo. He has offers from England, Italy and Turkey,” said Pedro.
“Cardozo renewed (his contract) three months ago and he has a contract for three and a half years but I talked to the president and he told me that if he can get a good deal (he could go), but now is not on the market.” (TalkSport)
In the world of football a contract is worth-less and if a club get a good offer they will sell. So it will be interesting to see how this all plans out.
