Inter Milan’s winger, Ivan Perisic has been recommended to Liverpool by his Croatian team mate, Dejan Lovren. The defender believes that the winger would be a terrific signing and would be welcomed with open hands by his Anfield team mates.
There is much competition for the winger’s signature with Chelsea, Manchester City, and Manchester United among other top European teams that are competing for the signature of the 28 year old. Manchester United boss, Jose Mourinho was present on Friday night to watch the player in action for his national team, although there is speculation that his international team mate, Marcelo Brozovic was the player Mourinho was scouting.
The winger has been in fine form for the Nerazzurri this season who have placed a £35 million price tag on the Croatian. He has already scored 9 goals in 23 games in Serie A this season.
According to Lovren, “… a player like Perisic moving to Liverpool would be great.
“He is a top quality player.
“At Liverpool, all the players would welcome him with open arms. Obviously, I do not know if it is true.
“What I can say is that he has exceptional football skills, knowledge and a higher than average quality.”
