Liverpool are close to signing one of the hottest prospects in Czech Football, 15 years old Vitezslav Jaros, WHO plays for Sparta Prague Under-19.

The Goalkeeper has trialled at the club twice. He first came on trial last September, then came back recently to convince the club that he is worth signing.

Liverpool were recently banned from signing young players from English teams and have now set their sight on some of Europe’s best young talents.

Southampton are said to also be interested in the player, but Liverpool are leading the race for his signature.

Liverpool’s ban from signing youth players in England is for two years, however the second year is suspended for three years. This is a major setback for Liverpool who have recently made Steven Gerard the manager of their Under 18 side.

In a related development, the Reds have also invited 14 years old polish goal keeper Jakub Ojrzynski, to trial at the club. The young goalie also underwent trial at Manchester United In February. He plays for Polish side Legia Warsaw and is highly rated by the club.
