Fulham have informed Liverpool that their summer target Ryan Sessegnon, is not for sale. The Reds are leading the race to sign the 16 year old who has had an amazing break out season at Craven Cottage.
Sessegnon has put in performances that is well beyond his age, and top Premier League and European sides have taken notice.
Liverpool looked to be in pole position to sign the player this summer, but may be frustrated by the Club.
Fulham’s manager Slavisa Jokanovic, has told journalist that he expects the youngster to sign professional forms with them and still be at the club next season.
According to him, Sessegnon would not be in the market this summer. He expects him to continue his development at the club for at least one more season.
Liverpool have had a long standing left back problem in recent years, they signed Alberto Moreno two years back with hopes that the Spaniard will solve this problem, but the defender has failed to live up to the Red’s standards.
Jurgen Klopp has used vice-captain James Milner at left back this season, but would love Sessegnon to take that position from next season.
