Manchester United’s Louis Van Gaal reportedly offered to resign following his sides 1-0 home defeat by Southampton.
It is believed that executive vice chairman Ed Woodward, refused to allow him leave and insisted that Van Gaal stay.
But the confidence in him by the boss, doesn’t seem to be helping the Dutchman’s esteem with reports that the is ready to leave due the pressure on himself and his family.
Van Gaal is extremely loyal to Woodward, who appointed him and backed him during the transfer window.
It is no wonder then that the 64 year old, agreed to remain at the club for now, does make you think though that a manager that does not want to be there any more, may not give it his best.
