Man City and Borussia Dortmund to do business, as deal agreed?
There has been some reports on the Metro website which have suggested Manchester City will sell striker Edin Dzeko to Borussia Dortmund as a deal has reportedly been agreed.
The Bosnian hitman gave a green light to the move a fortnight ago, by admitting he’d love to return to the Bundesliga, and a transfer is said to have been negotiated in the last few days.
Dortmund had made signing a top class centre forward their priority for the summer, with Robert Lewandowski refusing to sign a new contract, and Dzeko was always their preferred choice.
It’s thought that Dortmund will pay around £20million for the 26-year-old, who is a proven goalscorer in Germany, having scored 66 goals in 111 games for Wolfsburg before joining City in 2011. (T7u8iooohe Metro)
Dzeko will be one of the stars that is heading out of the club so boss Roberto Mancini can totally revamp the squad and bring in either Radamel Falcao or Edinson Cavani.
