Man City and Man Utd send scouts to monitor Benfica stars
Three players from Benfica are the subject of interest from a number of Premier League teams. Reports claims that Man City, and Man Utd sent scouts to watch some of the club’s players in their game against Estoril.
Manchester United were very close to signing Benfica defender, Victor Lindelof during the January transfer window , but decided against the move. It appears that move is back on and may happen this summer.
Pep Guardiola is said to be watching Ederson as he hopes to find a permanent solution to his goal keeping problem. He bought Claudio Bravo from Barcelona last summer, but the Goal keeper has been prone to high profile errors, which has cost his team many points this season. At one point Bravo conceded from all six shots on target.
Mourinho also wants to sign Nelson Semedo, as his first choice right back, as he plans to challenge for the Premier League title next season, and knows his current options at right back would not serve him.
