Man City in superstar battle as Italians plan big move

AC Milan are considering a summer move for Barcelona keeper Victor Valdes.

The Barca stopper will leave his boy-hood club this summer on a free transfer and he has been linked with several European clubs in recent weeks, including Premier League side Man City.

AS Monaco are also interested but [FDN] now understands that AC Milan boss Clarence Seedorf is keen to add Valdes to his squad.

Seedorf is currently toying with options to replace the ageing Christian Abbiati, who is now 36.

The Italian club see Valdes as the perfect candidate to help them push Juventus for a title challenge next season. (SportsDirectNews)

City will be disappointed if they miss out
