Reports from France has indicated that Pep Guardiola has joined the race to sign Alexandre Lacazette. The Lyon striker has been in fine form for the past three seasons and has scored 30 goals already this season.
Lacazette is a well known long term target of Arsene Wenger and the Frenchman has reportedly placed the striker at the top of his transfer list.

Wenger is expected to sanction a move away for Olivier Giroud and believes the in-form Lyon Striker can ably replace Giroud.

However, the Gunners now face a serious challenge from Man City, Pep Guardiola is building a new team at City, and expects to be very busy this summer. He believes Lacazette can be the attacking leader of his new team, and he has informed City’s board to get him the striker.

Arsenal are City face a serious challenge from Athletico Madrid. They are believed to have placed the striker as an alternative should they fail to land Alexis Sanchez. With Arsenal unlikely to let the Chilean go, they may lose Lacazette to the Spanish giants.
