Man City are set to offer a new contract to teenager Jordan Sancho, after it emerged that Chelsea and Arsenal are actively pursuing the 17 year old.
According to reports, his progress has not gone unnoticed by top Premier League sides who are ready to pounce and make a move for the player. In reaction to this, Man City has decided to offer the player a new deal worth around £30k per week, making him one of the highest paid academy players in England.
Although Sanchez is yet to make an appearance for the first team, he is regarded as one of the hottest prospect in the clubs academy.
He plays primarily as a winger, but is also adept at playing further forward, a position where he has played some times for the club.
It is rather cheeky of Arsenal and Chelsea to sniff around a direct rivals young stars and could open up the door for City to retaliate and start targeting acafemy players at Stamford Bridge and the Emirates.
