Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola, has been given a huge transfer kitty to try and build his own team at the Etihad. The Spanish boss has been using a bulk of the players he inherited from Manuel Pellegrini, many of whom are old and do not fit into his style of play.
According to the latest reports, the club has backed him with a transfer kitty of around £250 million to see if he can bring back the Premier League crown to the Etihad next season.
Kyle Walker, Virgil Van Dijk and Alexis Sanchez are his top targets.
The club is planning a huge clear out of their old players, as the deals of several of them will expire this summer.
Jesus Navas, Yahaya Toure, Gael Clichy, Pablo Zabaleta, are entering into the final year of their current deals and it is believed that the club will not offer them new contracts.
Alexis Sanchez has be linked with a move to the Etihad as his contract standoff at Arsenal continues. Although the Chilean wants to remain in London, it is also believed that he would love to be reunited with his former manager at the Etihad.
