There have been reports today that speculate that Manchester City striker Eden Dzeko is in talks with Italian giants Inter Milan over a possible move this month, as he looks for guaranteed first team football.
Dzeko, who joined the Premier League champions in a £27m move from Wolfsburg in 2011, has frequently found himself behind the likes of Sergio Aguero and Carlos Tevez in the forward pecking order.
Although he has started City’s last two league games, 11 of his 18 Premier League outings have come from the bench, and he is believed to be keen for regular first-team football.
And Inter are now prepared to offer him an escape route from the Etihad Stadium as they eye a long-term replacement for Argentina striker Diego Milito. (TalkSport)
Dzeko has been in impressive form this season but is fed up of having the unenviable tag of ‘super sub’ and a move away could just be what he needs. And City may be losing the star to make way for Edinson Cavani, who they are strongly linked with.
