Jadon Sancho’s delay in signing a new deal at the Etihad is a cause of worry for Manchester City as the Citizens are worried that he may have made up his mind to join Arsenal.
Pep Guardiola decided not to include the 17-year-old in his travelling party heading to the United States for preseason, a decision the prodigy and his family thinks he might be a long way from first team inclusion at the Etihad.
Sancho has been offered a new three years deal worth £30,000 per week at the Etihad, but he has refused to sign and has just a year left on his current deal.
The youngster is a south Londoner and joined Manchester City from Watford for £500,000, but is said to be an Arsenal fan. One of his heroes happens to be Alexis Sanchez whom City are finding hard to prise away from the Gunners.
Arsene Wenger has been getting glowing reports from his scouts about the youngster’s exploits, but he is still considering if he should make an offer or convince the youngster to see out his current deal and join them next summer.
