Man United boss to raid giants for tough England International

Manchester United manager David Moyes is keen to raid his former club Everton for defender Phil Jagielka

The 31-year-old was an ever-present under Moyes at Goodison Park before the Scot left Merseyside to succeed Sir Alex Ferguson in the Red Devils hotseat last summer.

With captain Nemanja Vidic leaving on a free transfer at the end of the season and veteran Rio Ferdinand likely to follow him through the exit door, the champions will be left with two gaping holes in the centre of their defence.

Despite his age, United will still have to offer big money to tempt the Toffees to part with Jagielka, as his contract has more than three years left to run. (SportsDirectNews)

The man could be a very decent buy for the red devils
