Manchester United have announced Ben Amos has signed for Bolton.
The 24-year-old has put pen to paper at the Trotters on a four-year deal, where he spent the second-half of last season on loan.
The Red Devils academy product joins the Wanderers as a replacement for Adam Bogdan, who has joined Liverpool this summer.
A club statement read: “Ben Amos has officially completed his free transfer to Bolton Wanderers. Everybody at United would like to wish Ben well for the future.”
Amos revealed in April that he would be leaving Old Trafford this summer after failing to break into the first-team, making just seven senior appearance.
He said: “If I’m being totally honest because I am a United fan is why I’ve hung around a little bit more than I should have.
“But I don’t regret anything. I’ve learnt every day and pushed myself every day. I’ve given it everything I have to make it at United.
“That’s what I wanted to do. Now I have to look forward and there’s a future after United.
“There’s no secrets about that. I have to go and play football. People might say I’ve waited too long at United.”
