Man United, Liverpool and Arsenal target ‘happy’ where he is
There has been some speculation over the possible destination of Stokes highly-rated stopper Asmir Begovic as rumours were circulating that Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal were all chasing his services this coming January. But the player himself has admitted that it is flattering to be linked with massive clubs but is happy where he is for now.
.”It’s very flattering,” Begovic told Sky Sports News.
“It’s positive feedback from other teams that people are looking at you and mentioning you with those teams.
“It’s no secret that everyone has their own ambitions and they want to be playing at the highest level possible.
“But right now I’m just focused on taking Stoke forward and I think the club here has a lot of ambitions; the chairman, the manager and everyone else included.
“So we just want to keep pushing this club forwards and see how far we can take it.”

The goalkeeper is enjoying the best season of his lifer and is showing the world just what kind of potential he has and though he is happy right now, a move to a bigger club in the future almost looks a certainty.
