Man United officials fly out to get superstar deal done

There has been some reports which have claimed Manchester United officials flew to France on Friday night to make initial contact over Paris Saint Germain striker Edinson Cavani.

It is no secret that United are looking to add another top-class striker to the squad, as Robin Van Persie has been tipped to leave the club at the end of the season.

And the SportsDirectNews website claim Cavani looks destined for a move to the English Premier League after countless reports linking the Uruguayan striker to the likes of Chelsea and Man United.

Rumours of a fall out between he and PSG boss Laurent Blanc over styles of play and a system that the striker dislikes have made his time with the Ligue 1 club turn slightly sour.

And it is now understood that officials from United flew out to Paris on Friday evening to undertake talks with the Parisien club about a transfer.
