The agent of Manchester United target Sebastian Giovinco has ruled out any chance of his client moving to Fiorentina.
Giovinco’s future at Juventus is growing increasingly uncertain, with the attacker’s contract due to expire at the end of the current season.
And that has led to talk that the Red Devils are willing to offer him a contract and nail don his signature.
However, there had been talk that Giovinco will join Fiorentina, with many reports claiming a deal had already been struck.
But his agent, Andrea D’Amico, has been quick to rule out such a move.
As quoted on the TalkSport website, he said: “There is absolutely no truth in that [move to Fiorentina], it’s fantasy football. At this moment there is no contact with Fiorentina.
“At this moment everything is standing still, and as the player himself already confirmed, I doubt there is a chance that he may move in January.
“At this moment there is no news on this topic [of his contract].”
