Manchester United are reportedly willing to sign Radamel Falcao on a permanent deal at the end of the season, according to the Metro website.
Falcao, 29, has failed to impress since joining United on loan from Monaco for £6million, only managing four Premier League goals in 20 appearances.
However, Louis Van Gaal may be willing to spend £43.2million to buy him outright in the summer,
Monaco Vice-President Vadim Vasilyev told L’Equipe: ‘I met the Manchester officials last Sunday. They have not decided if they would exercise the option.
‘It has not been his best season, but they will decide at the end of the season.’
