Man United ready to upset Liverpool with shock summer move

Manchester United want to take advantage of a potential change in work-permit rules to sign Benfica star Eduardo Salvio, according to the Daily Mirror website.

Old Trafford scouts flew in to Portugal to watch Salvio in action against Vitoria Setubal on Wednesday night.

The winger, who has been lined up by Liverpool and Arsenal, only got half hour off the bench but he helped Benfica to a 3-0 win.

Salvio, 24, has played five times for Argentina since making his debut as an 18-year-old.
