Man United to take advanatge and seal bargain summer deal

Manchester United are set to use Monaco’s financial fair play fine to sign Radamel Falcao in a cut-price deal, according to the Metro website.

Monaco were fined £9.5million this week and given a 22-man squad restriction for their transfer dealings, and the club are trying to cut costs.

And that means that Falcao, who is due to return to the French club this summer when his loan expires, may be sold to United for a cut-priced deal.

The French giants currently want a fee of £43 million, but United may feel that a fee of £20 million could be struck.
