Manchester United have been told they will have to stump up at least £12million to beat Inter Milan and Real Madrid to Brazilian starlet Lucas Silva.
The Brazilian has been rated as one of the best talents in Brazilian football and has been dubbed the ‘next Kaka’.
And while Inter are known to be very keen, the player’s agent Luiz Rocha believes United may hold a financial advantage over the Serie A side.
As quoted on the Daily Express website, he said: “I had contact with Inter in the past, not now, but I think they’re liaising directly with Cruzeiro.
“Will he leave in January? It’s possible he may go during the winter market, but it all depends on the offers that will be presented.
“Up until now there has been no concrete offers. The only problem for Inter is that the cost of the player may be too expensive for the Nerazzurri.”
