Man United’s Argentine target to be allowed to leave this season

Reports have come out and claimed Inter Milan are ready to let Manchester United target Ricky Alvarez leave this summer, according to the SportsDirectNews website.

United looked into the possibility of bringing Alvarez to Old Trafford in the winter transfer window, but a move never materialised as former boss David Moyes concentrated on securing Juan Mata from Chelsea instead.

And if United want to revisit Alvarez in the summer then they could secure the Argentine playmaker relatively easily as the Italian club’s owner Erick Thohir looks to trim his wage budget.

Alvarez, 25, is just one of a number of players that have been identified by Thohir as surplus to requirements at the San Siro,
