Manchester United midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan, has warned rival clubs that United have not given up on their top four hopes. The Armenian believes the third and fourth spot in the League table are still very much up for grabs.

United have not had a spectacular campaign as they would have hoped for when they signed Paul Pogba and some other stars last summer, however the club have won the community shield as well as the Capital One Cup this season. But their main aim is to finish in one of the Champions League places.

United currently trail 3rd placed Liverpool by six points, but Liverpool have played two more games, They are only four points behind bitter rivals Man City with a game in hand and three points above Arsenal, albeit the Gunners have a game in hand.

Many observers believes that United’s surest way to qualify for the Champions League next season is to win the Europa League and manager Jose Mourinho, has told reporters that he may soon prioritise the competition over the Premier League.

Mkhitaryan has not been as phenomenal as he was at Borussia Dortmund, But he believes he will improve by next season.
