Man Utd and Arsenal will have to break transfer world record to land target
Arsenal and Manchester United target Kylian Mbappe will only leave current club Monaco for a world record fee. The teenager enhanced his reputation on Wednesday when he netted twice in their rescheduled game against Dortmund.
Mbappe is only 18, but his reputation for scoring in big matches may see him leave Monaco this summer. The French club are confident they can keep him for one more season by promising him more first team opportunities.
However, if the teenager gets his head turned by another club’s offer they would let him go, but only for a World record fee.
Manchester believe they can land the teenager even for that fee. They spent £89 Million to bring back Paul Pogba last season, and are prepared to splash the cash again this summer.
Arsenal want Mbappe to provide them with the goals that will help them get back among the top teams in Europe. The Gunners are preparing for a summer overhaul, and it is believed they are ready to compete with Europe’s top clubs financially.
