Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho, is keen on adding top European talents to his squad this summer. The Portuguese manager wants to effectively challenge for the European and domestic titles next season and knows he needs to sign more quality players to be able to achieve that.
According to the latest rumours, Mourinho would love to sign Real Madrid’s Toni Kroos and AS Monaco’s Fabinho as he searches for top players that would help bring the best out of world’s most expensive player Paul Pogba.
Pogba has had an underwhelming first season since making his record breaking move back to United, but the midfielder has performed better when paired with Michael Carrick in midfield. With Carrick retiring at the end of this season, Mourinho wants Kroos or Fabinho to replace him.
AS Monaco’s Tiemoue Bakayoko and Chelsea’s Cesc Fabregas have been mentioned as possible alternatives, but Jose Mourinho’s first choice remains Kroos and Fabinho.
Real Madrid are on the cusp of another Champions League triumph, and it is believed that if Kroos wins this Champions League this season, he would seek another challenge possibly in the Premier League.
