Manchester United hopes of signing Bayern Munich midfielder Renato Sanches have received a major boost following reports that the German Champions have reduced their valuation of the player.
United manager Jose Mourinho has been linked with a move for the Portugal international for some time now and he can now secure the 19-year-olds signature for just £23 Million, a cool £7.5 Million less than the Bavarians had originally asked for.
Sanches would fit in perfectly at Old Trafford in a midfield that would see him line up alongside Paul Pogba and Ander Herrera.
When you consider that Monaco want in excess of £100 Million for Kylian Mbappe then Sanches represents extreme value, he may not be in the same category as Mbappe at this moment in time, but at just 19 years of age he has an abundance of time to improve and may well represent a bargain in years to come.
Other clubs have yet to show the same sort of interest that United have shown in Sanches, but that will probably change now that Bayern have cut the asking price.
