Manchester United’s pursuit of Inter Milan’s winger Ivan Perisic has taken a new twist after it emerged that the Italians want Anthony Martial included in any new offer the Red Devils are preparing for the Croatian.
The Milan giants are reluctant to let Perisic leave as they begin a new face under a new ownership group, but Manchester United are refusing to give up the chase for the player.
Jose Mourinho sees Perisic as an important part of his new team especially after sealing the signing of Romelu Lukaku from Everton. He needs a winger who would be able to provide deadly balls into opposing team 18-yard box, and Perisic is a specialist at that.
But, the Red Devils are not ready to offer Martial, they have proposed the inclusion of Matteo Darmian in the move, but Inter, who had previously wanted Darmian, seem to have made up their mind on Martial.
Although Martial did not play very well last season, the Frenchman still has a bright future in Manchester, and both the club and player do not wish to end their engagement this summer.
