United’s bid to secure another three points and boost their hopes of breaking into the top four has suffered a major setback after injuries and suspension has left them without seven first team regulars for their clash against West Brom.

Marouane Felliani picked up an injury on international duty adding to an already long list of absentees.
England international defenders, Chris Smalling and Phil Jones both picked up knocks on international duty, while Paul Pogba is still nursing a hamstring problem.

Wayne Rooney is also unfit and would require a late test to determine if he can face the Baggies.

This list of injured absentees is not pleasing when you consider that United would also be without the services of two of their influential players who would miss out through suspensions. Ander Herrera and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are both suspended and Michael Carrick is the only fit senior midfielder Jose Mourinho can call on for this very important fixture.
