According to Spanish media, Manchester United may sign more than one player from Athletico Madrid this season. The Red Devils are on the verge of signing Antoine Griezmann if they qualify for the Champions League.
Last week, they were linked with a move for Atletico goal keeper Jan Oblak, who they hope would replace Real Madrid target, David De Gea.
Now they want Yannick Carrasco. The Belgian has been in very fine form since joining Atletico from Monaco in the summer of 2015.
Jose Mourinho, who is plotting a major overhaul of his playing staff next season, is believed to have added Carrasco to his summer shopping list.
However, a move for Carasco or any of his Atletico team mates would depend on if United qualify for the Champions League or not.
Despite the Red Devil’s 2-0 win over Chelsea on Sunday, it is still believed that the best way for them to reach the Champions League would be to win the Europa League.
The club’s players are confident they can finish the season inside the top four, we just have to wait and see if Griezmann and Co will move to Old Trafford.
