Benfica defender Victor Lindelof continues to be linked with a transfer to Man Utd next year according to the latest reports in the press.
The Swede’s future at Benfica is set to be speculated about, now that the rumours have started, they tend to gather pace, there is normally an agent or a source behind this type of speculation and it is unlikely that we have heard the last of transfer talk involving Lindelof in the gossip columns.
Lindelof is a highly talented youngster and is considered as one for the future, he will no doubt command a lot of attention from interested clubs, not just Man Utd.
This would be a great deal for United, Lindelof would be a great addition to the squad at Old Trafford and he would probably welcome a move to the Premier League.
If the right offer is made then there is every chance that Benfica manager Rui Vitória, will at the very least consider allowing the 22 year old to leave, however, the £50m asking price may be too high, even for Man Utd.
Lindelof signed with Benfica from Vasteras SK back in December 2011, he has made 28 first team appearances and 11 international appearances for Sweden.
