The rebuilding goes on at Man Utd without pause and that means another massive spending spree in the January transfer window, according to the British media.
Apparently, the United board have given the green light for manager Jose Mourinho to spend up to £80 Million.
Mourinho met with the club hierarchy last week to discuss the transfer budget and his plans for strengthening the squad.
Some of the positions that Mourinho wants to add to are a creative midfielder, left back and winger and the likes of Arsenal duo Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil are just two of the big-name players already being linked with a winter move to Old Trafford.
If Mourinho does spend the whole £80 Million it would affect his summer transfer budget as some of the money has been taken from that allotment of funds.
Mourinho knows that Chelsea and Man City will continue to spend big and that he has to maintain parity if he is to remain competitive and it seems that the board agrees with him.
