Man Utd preparing a mega deal for three players from French giants
Reports coming from old Trafford states that Jose Mourinho has submitted a proposal to the club’s board about the players he wants. Per the source, Mourinho has included three Monaco stars who are worth a combined £72 Million.
Despite spending about £150 Miliion last season to buy Paul Pogba, Eric Bailly among others, Mourinho is ready to spend heavily again this summer.
It is believed that he has budgeted £72 Million for a raid on French League 1 leaders AS Monaco. The Red Devils boss is apparently interested in midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko and full-backs Djibril Sidibe and Benjamin Mendy.
Mourinho believes Bakayoko can replace the outgoing Michael Carrick and aid Pogba in the midfield. Full back Benjamin Mendy is one of the players Mourinho wants to replace Luke Shaw the Frenchman joined Monaco this season, but has impressed so much that he may not be at the club next season.
Djibril Sidibe can play on either left or right full back position, his versatility means he can also play in midfield, but he is a powerfully built and accomplished full back.
Mourinho believes he can get these stars for a combined sum of £72 Million and has set his sight on securing their signature before his rivals do.
