Bayern Munich midfielder David Alaba is being linked with a move to Manchester United next year, according to the latest transfer gossip coming out of the media.
Alaba has a long term contract with the German champions and would not come cheap, but that does not appear to be an issue for United boss Jose Mourinho, apparently he will get the club to pay whatever they must in order to ensure the signature of the 24 year old left sided player.
The Austrian international is a versatile player that is just as effective as a left back or left sided midfielder, the exact sort of player that Mourinho likes to employ.
Alaba is regarded as one of the better players in his position, he is approaching his peak and would be a great addition to any team, but it is hard to see Bayern agreeing to sell him, not unless a huge mega offer is made.
This rumour does, if true, make sense for United, the chances are that Alaba would probably be a great success at Old Trafford and Mourinho knows this.
The midfielder has made 145 first team appearances for Bayern and 50 international appearances for Austria.
