Reports coming from Spain indicates that James Rodriguez has made up his mind on which Premier League team he would play for next season. The Colombian has been on the radar of many teams in the EPL including: Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool.

However, Don Balon has revealed that James has ignored all these teams and has chosen 6th placed Manchester United. The player’s first choice is Bayern Munich, however Bayern have enough players for his position, and are unlikely to move for him. This has seen the Colombian turn his sight to the EPL.

James had previously stated that he would not take a pay cut to move away from Madrid and this may be why he has chosen United, knowing that they are able to offer an increase in his current wage at Real.

James is represented by the same agent as Jose Mourinho, and this may play a key role in the transfer. However, another issue to consider is the fact that Real Madrid want David De Gea in any deal that would take James to Old Trafford. United are set to negotiate that, and may offer more money for James so they can keep De Gea.
